2022 Medicare Deductibles & Copays
CMS recently announced 2022 monthly premium, deductible and co-pay amounts for Medicare Part A and Part B.
The 2022 standard Medicare Part B monthly premium will be $170.10. This is an increase of $21.60 when compared to the 2021 monthly premium of $148.50. This amounts to a 14.5% increase, which is much higher than the increase of 2.7% in 2021.
The annual Part B deductible for 2022 is $233, up from $203. This amounts to a 14.8% increase, which is much higher than the increase of 2.5% in 2021.
The Part A deductibles and coinsurances are all increased 4.9% for 2022, down slightly from the 5.4% increases in 2021.
